This website is owned and operated by The Creative Edit (ABN 92 139 863 958). Below, we have set out our Terms and Conditions for the use of our website and event/ catering services. All users must read these terms carefully, before placing an order with us. Any use, in the below, of ‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’ refers to The Creative Edit. By using this website you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions. We have the right to make any necessary updates and changes to our website at any given time. It is your responsibility to check this page for any modifications.

The Creative Edit is a registered and certified catering business under the regulations of the Manningham Council.

COVID-19 ACTION PLAN

At The Creative Edit, our highest priority is to ensure that our employees and customers health and wellbeing are protected by following and implementing all Victorian government guidelines. We have implemented measures to ensure standards are met inclusive of team members wearing medical-grade protective gloves and masks when preparing orders. Additionally, The Creative Edit provides contactless delivery for orders – we will smile and wave from a friendly distance!

BOX & PLATTER ORDERS

By placing a direct order through our website you are making an offer to purchase our products and services. The Creative Edit reserves the right to accept, refuse, cancel or refund any orders that are placed with us for any reason. When placing an order on your website we collect certain personal information from you. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information. 

Once you place an order with us you will receive a confirmation email or text message indicating your order and payment method has been accepted and confirmed. If you require a receipt of your purchase for business purposes, please ensure to include your email at the point of sale.

GRAZING TABLE ORDERS

Enquires for our grazing tables can be placed via our website’s contact form or directly via hello@thecreativeedit.com.au.

To secure a booking, a $150 non-refundable deposit is required, this secures the date and time of your event with us. The remaining balance is required to be made seven (7) business days prior to your event.

PRODUCE

Our speciality grazing range is made with the finest of locally sourced ingredients which are subject to seasonality and availability of produce. All our boxes may contain nuts, gluten, egg, citrus and dairy or traces of the before-mentioned. If there are any specific dietary requirement please contact us before placing an order, and we can do our best to accommodate. Whilst every effort is made to accommodate various dietary requirements, we cannot guarantee an allergen free environment.

Product design, colours and flavours may vary from images supplied on our website by discretion of The Creative Edit. We reserve the right to substitute products of equal or greater value.

GIFTS

All of our boxes and gift range come with a complimentary gift note and packaging. We do not include a copy of the invoice.

The Creative Edit does not take any responsibility for the content on any gift messages sent from a sender to a recipient. Messages are not altered or censored by us and are sent as requested by the sender.

CONSUMPTION/ NON-LIABLITY FOR RISK

All products must be consumed within 3 hours of receiving. If not being eaten immediately, the box or platter should be refrigerated. Please note consumption of said products beyond the said period shall be at your own risk.

The Creative Edit shall not be liable  for any resulting damage, injury or sickness whatsoever, whether remote or proximate, for failure to consume the same within said period or for the customer’s failure to  take health, safety and hygienic  measures in the consumption and handling thereof. 

ALCOHOL

Any alcoholic beverages featured part of our gifting range are designed to be delivered as a genuine gift to a person and does not exceed two litres. Our cocktail range is supplied by Mister Bartender operating under the Victorian Commission of Gambling and Liquor Regulation numbers 90153701. For all gifts with alcohol included, please ensure that the recipient is aged over 18 years and is available to receive the delivery. Upon delivery, the receiver is required to evidence that they are of age where appropriate, this may be the person accepting the order even if they are not the person who placed the order.

PRICE & PAYMENT

Any price indications or price lists provided by The Creative Edit are subject to alteration at any time without notice. Prices excludes delivery which are calculated at checkout. All prices on our website are in the Australian dollar. Quotations for event styling packages are valid for 14 days from issue. 

DELIVERY

The Creative Edit offers a next day delivery service between 10.30am and 5.30 pm AEDT. All delivery fees are calculated at the checkout based on the exact address being delivered to at $1.10 per km from Doncaster. The Creative Edit cannot guarantee specific delivery times, even when requested by customers. This is due to our driver’s workload, route schedules, traffic and unforeseeable events.

The ‘Billing Contact’ will receive at text message as the order has been prepared and is on its way, which could be up to 4 hours based on the delivery schedule. We are unable to message you as it’s been delivered.

Please ensure to arrange a day of delivery and location where a recipient is be available to collect the order. If someone is not available to accept delivery and the driver deems it safe to do so (unless otherwise advised at time of purchase by the purchaser), the order will be left at the premises in a safe and visible place.

UNDELIVERABLE ITEMS

All undeliverable items will be sent back to The Creative Edit’s warehouse where the customer will be liable for any additional charges in relation to returning, storing or disposing the undeliverable items. The Creative Edit is not responsible if your order goes missing once placed in a safe place.

Our products are considered as undeliverable when:

  • The recipient is not home or unavailable to receive their item and there is nowhere safe to leave the item. 
  • The recipient's address is incorrect and cannot be located.

INCORRECT AND INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES

When placing an order with us, please ensure all details provided are correct and accurate. If you have provided us with an incorrect or incomplete delivery address and we have delivered your order to the address provided, we take no responsibility for these errors. Additional delivery fees and product replacement fees if your blooms need to be replenished may be applied. 

PICKUP

Orders can be picked up from our warehouse in Doncaster, this can be selected at the checkout. You will be notified of the exact pickup address from 7pm the day prior.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

In the unfortunate circumstance that you need to cancel your order or booking, cancellation is required at least seven (7) days prior to your event for grazing tables and forty-eight (48) hours prior to the delivery/pickup for grazing boxes or platters, otherwise the entire amount paid shall be forfeited and whatever balance shall still be paid. 

If you are unsatisfied with your order please contact us immediately with photo evidence and we will provide you with the appropriate amendments.

We do not provide refunds or exchanges for change of mind, or if you have chosen incorrectly.

SECURITY BOND

Customers are required to pay a bond of $50-$100 in addition to the price displayed for grazing platters and tables. This fee is taken as security for our hired items and will be refunded to you, via deposit into your nominated bank account, once your item is safely returned to us without damage.

PROMOTIONS/ GIVEAWAYS

The Creative Edit may occasionally run promotional offers for our customers. Such special offers may include, but are not necessarily limited to: special prices, discount codes or other giveaways. Each promotion will run for a limited time only and may have conditions or guidelines, which must be fully complied with, without exception, in order to validly redeem the promotion.

Some promotions may require you to share personal information with The Creative Edit. Any information shared in this capacity will be dealt with, at all times, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please refer to this policy for more information. Prizes won in promotional giveaways are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

EVENT STYLING

The Creative Edit’s event styling package is inclusive of your own dedicated event stylist who will work with you across every step of the way. This package includes creative design development, a custom mood board, supplier sourcing, booking and management of all elements for the ceremony and reception, management of master budget for your special day, creation of logistics plan and run sheet for all suppliers. Additionally, part of this service is inclusive of unlimited contact, planning meetings with your dedicated event stylist. Your event stylist will also be present on the day to manage elements of bump in and bump out with suppliers.

The Creative Edit is responsible for seeing out the appropriate suppliers in order to realise the style of the event accordingly. Where the Client requests to choose their own suppliers, The Creative Edit will not undertake any responsibility for the quality of the event. This includes suppliers' failure to deliver on time and to deliver according to a pre-determined and approved style guide.

PAYMENT STRUCTURE

An initial deposit of $1,000 is required upon commencement of planning and the style guide process. No products or inclusions are charged at the booking stage. 

Following the initial deposit amount, the first payment instalment will be carried out in order to secure dates with third party suppliers on the basis of 25% of the proposed quotation.

Minor changes to guests’ numbers or amendments to smaller decorative details can be accommodated for across the planning process and up to four weeks prior to your event date. Any large items such as dancefloors or hanging installations are not subject to change as from the time of booking, products are ordered with staffing arranged.

Following this, The Creative Edit will be in touch to discuss a payment structure that works for you. Please note that final payment is required 30 days prior to your event. At this time, all details of the quote must be finalised prior to the event due to the need for notice with third party suppliers and purchases. By 30 days prior to the event date, no changes can be made to the event order.

ARTWORK AND DESIGN

All artwork and design remains the property of The Creative Edit. The Creative Edit will discuss your design in detail prior to issuing a quotation. The client is welcome to present photographic ideas and inspirations to The Creative Edit for consideration. While The Creative Edit cannot legally replicate existing artwork, we endeavor to create a design that is as close as possible to the desired. We do not charge for the amount of revisions of work. Finalised guest names, table numbers and menu items are required four weeks prior to the event date.

RESCHEDULING OF DATES DUE TO COVID-19 MEASURES

If your wedding date must be rescheduled due to COVID-19 measures, your booking with The Creative Edit will be shifted to a newly nominated date. No cancellation or re-booking fees apply if notified within 30 days for booking items.

In the result of being notified within 30 days, The Creative Edit will determine if any tangible foods have already been ordered at this point of time such as flowers or food to ensure third party suppliers are compensated for the loss of their products.

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

In the result of being notified within 30 days, The Creative Edit will determine the cancellation fee based on the extent of stock/ production that has been ordered from third party suppliers.

Third party cancellation fees that are applicable can vary significantly and will be determined at the time of cancellation. The Creative Edit reserves the right to determine the refundable amount of the styling fee based on how much work has been done towards your service.

EVENT VARIATIONS

The Creative Edit has the right to pass on any increase in labour due to last-minute changes, including additional fees incurred through late-night or early morning installations outside the control of The Creative Edit. Where hire items have been sourced, any damage to these items from completion of set-up until the initiation of pack down, will be the sole responsibility of the Client, in which case, any damage waivers and fees will be forwarded directly to the Client.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Our website, and all information contained within it, is the property of The Creative Edit and is protected from unauthorised publication and dissemination by the laws of intellectual property.

Any and all original The Creative Edit related designs, images, photographs, illustrations, logos, text, HTML code or any other intellectual property content made available on our website or throughout our wider brand, is the property of The Creative Edit and remains our copyright material at all times.
